Student Study Team (SST)

Parents, Teachers, Administration, and other associated professionals working with a student may request a SST meeting.

Meetings are set up for 30 minutes and cover the following topics: student's strengths, areas of concern, attempted accommodations or modifications, and creation of an action plan.  

A Follow-Up SST Meeting is typically scheduled for 6-8 weeks after the initial meeting to check progress of action plan and adjustments.

SST meetings typically include the following individuals:
  1. Student
  2. Parent/Guardian
  3. Classroom Teachers
  4. Vice Principal

Additional invitees may include:

a. Outside agency providers (counselors, social workers, etc.)
b. Medical personnel (school nurse, health assistant, etc.)
c. Special Education staff (school psychologist, special education teachers, etc.)
